BIMCO and ISCO have launched two new spill response contracts to make the task of arranging clean-up services following a spill incident significantly easier to negotiate in an emergency.
WRECKFIXED 2010 is an international wreck removal and marine services agreement based on a fixed price and on the principle of no cure, no pay. The latest edition of this contract is WRECKFIXED 2010. Copyright in WRECKFIXED 2010 is held by BIMCO.
The International Spill Control Organization (ISCO) and BIMCO are working together to develop a standard contract for spill response services. The contract is expected to be published by the end of the year.
