We estimate that dry bulk supply will grow by 3-4% in 2024 and 1.5-2.5% in 2025. The dry bulk fleet is expected to grow by 2.9% in 2024 and 2.6% in 2025. Low deliveries and higher recycling will contribute to slower fleet growth. Ship deliveries are forecast to reach 33.3 and 33.9 million DWT in 2... Please follow the link to continue reading.

It appears that our previous estimate for ship recycling was too high. Year-to-date, ship recycling has been significantly less than we expected. We have therefore reduced our recycling estimates, which in turn has increased our estimate for fleet growth. However, we still estimate that fleet gr... Please follow the link to continue reading.

We forecast that the average monthly fleet will grow 10.1% in 2024 and another 6.7% in 2025. Due to the longer sailing distances around the Cape of Good Hope, average sailing speeds have increased during 2024, and ship supply is therefore growing faster than the fleet. In 2025, our base scenario... Please follow the link to continue reading.
