Newbuilding report dated 12 October 2021

Boxships attracted most of the interest last week with a plethora of deals coming to light. At the same time, a decent number of dry bulk units were ordered while given the complete absence of tanker newbuilding contracts during the past two months, the presence of four firm plus two optional LNG fuelled Aframax units from Greek owner Tsakos at Daehan shipyard caught our attention.

The weekly newbuilding report by Intermodal Research & Valuations feature, include newbuilding prices for dry bulk-, tanker- and gas shipping segments. Additionally, recent newbuilding orders are listed by units, type, size, yard, expected delivery date and price.
