This was the first opportunity for ASBA, who are the copyright owners of the NYPE charter party, to showcase the new version. A panel of experts from the original drafting team from BIMCO, ASBA and the Singapore Maritime Foundation skilfully guided their audience through the key clauses and amendments introduced in NYPE 2015. Around 50 ASBA members attended the event and contributed to open discussions on the merits of the new edition.

Stamford was the first stop during the NYPE 2015 Roadshow in North America. The presentation team of Inga Froysa, John Freydag, Jonathan Young, Henry Mytton-Mills, Robert Dillon and Grant Hunter moved on to Montreal on 11 November to repeat the event in front of an audience of 50 from the local Montreal shipping community. Again this proved to be a lively and engaging session demonstrating the keen interest in the new edition of NYPE.
The NYPE Roadshow will continue later in November at events to be held in Geneva on 29 November and Genoa on 30 November.
Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) publish regular Bunker Alerts based entirely on fuel samples and have kindly permitted BIMCO’s Members to access this information.
The Bunker Alerts are not intended to be an evaluation of overall bunker quality in the port or area concerned, but usually highlight a specific parameter within the fuel which has raised a quality issue.
All of BIMCO's most widely used contracts and clauses as well as advice on managing charters and business partners.
