The Somali pirates are back, and with the Northwest Indian Ocean monsoon season coming to an end, the threat of Somali pirate attacks is on the rise. In this webinar, Commander Jesús Leal, a representative from the EU Naval Forces' Intelligence Branch, will give a situation update on the piracy threats, and BIMCO’s Head of Maritime Safety & Security, Jakob Paaske Larsen, will brief on best practices for risk management, and the pros and cons of using armed guards.
