Description

A by-product from smelting and refining of iron ore and nickel ore in electric furnace. Granulated by air or water cooling. Cargo comprises mainly of magnesium silicate. Similar composition to natural sand, with colour ranging from pale greenish, grey to brownish. Bulk density: 1,100 - 1,730 kg/m3.
